What are we learning this week?
- Math - Topic 5 = Shapes and Solids - Polygons, Triangles and Quadrilaterals. Quiz on Friday, Sept. 26, - Math Madness (multiplication) - Please study your multiplication facts.
- Language Arts - Story = My Very Own Room, Genre= Realistic Fiction, Skill= Make and Confirm Predications
- Writing - Learning the Power Paragraph - Focus = Zinger
- Grammar - Compound Sentences
- Cursive - Continuing the lowercase alphabet
- Science/Social Studies/Health - Rotations begin Monday 9/22.
Notes and Reminders:
- Spelling packets went home on Friday, Sept. 18. They are due friday 9/26 due to no school on Thursday.
- As you know, I have been absent from school a few times this year due to trainings. On October 2nd and 3rd, I will again be attending a training. I understand that this is a disruption for the students. However, these trainings have been greatly beneficial for both the children and me. The substitute for these days is Mrs. Simons.
