What are we learning this week?

• Math -  Multiplication Concepts form Engage NY - Math Madness (multiplication) - Please study your multiplication facts.

• Language Arts  -  Story = Home Grown Butterflies, Genre = Nonfiction, Skill = Sequence

• Vocabulary Words -   disappear, protect, harming, supply, capture, enclosure

• Writing -  Personal Narrative – Prompt: My Best Birthday Ever! - Publish

• Cursive -  Uppercase alphabet 

• Science/Social Studies/Health - Monday 10/6, Wednesday 10/8, and Thursday 10/9. Mrs. Aceves = Health, Mrs. Barnes = Science, and Ms. Ryan = Social Studies

• •       Unsatisfactory notices are going home Monday, Oct. 6.  Please check your child’s homework folders.  Thank you!

  •       Ms. Ryan assigned a Social Studies project due on October 24^th.  Please ask your child to show you the assignment.  All students have chosen a tribe and have a handout about their tribe.  If your child is not satisfied with their tribe or they have questions, please see Ms. Ryan.

  •       The next current event is due October 17^th.  Please start looking for an article to report on.

  •      As of Monday, October 6^th we will have an aide in the classroom.  She will be with us daily for one hour.  Her name is Ms. Minick and we are very excited to have her joining us!
