What are we learning this week?
- Math - We will be preparing for the district math test scheduled for this week. Reviews will be going home.
- Language Arts - This week our focus is on wrapping up Unit 3 – Express Yourself. We will be reading two stories, which will review skills we have learned in the unit. Stories: Felicia’s Choice – Fiction, and Design Your Own Journal – Nonfiction
- Vocabulary - A vocabulary test reviewing all words in Unit 3 will be given on 2/12. A review sheet will go home 2/9.
- Spelling - Lesson 25. The spelling packet and test is due on 2/12.
- Art - Hot air balloons – Mixing the primary colors
- Science/Social Studies/Health - Rotations this week are scheduled for 2/9, 2/11, and 2/12
Please Note:• Our first field trip will be to the California Science Center on March 4. Information and trip slips will be going home this week. Please look for them and return paperwork. Thank you.
