What are we learning this week?:
- Math - Continuing with Topic 3 Addition = Adding 3 and 4 digit numbers, Adding three or more numbers and problem solving(reasonableness), Math Madnesss ( multiplication)
- Language Arts - Story: Amazing Grace, Genre: Realistic Fiction, Skill: Cause and Effect
- Writing - Learning the Power Paragraph,
- Grammar- synonyms
- Cursive - Continuing the lowercase alphabet
- Art - The color wheel: primary colors, secondary colors and tertiary colors
Please Remember:
- Please remember that you cannot write in cursive until I have taught all the upper and lowercase letters. Names on paper should not be written in cursive.
- There is a spelling packet this week. It went home Tuesday and will be due Thursday.
- There are no new vocabulary words this week. They are the same as last week.
- Tests this week include: Thursday- spelling, Friday- reading comprehension and Topic 3 math quiz

UPCOMING EVENTS:
9/2 - First early Tuesday - dismissal is at 1.30pm
9/3 - We have computer lab at 10.20. Try to finish reading your library books so you can take A.R test.
